Walk of Sacred Action: A living Pilgrimage

Awakened World 2005 will be a completely new and energized experience! We move this year to the beautiful La Quinta Resort, just down the road from Palm Springs, on the edge of the deep desert and quietly inspiring mountains.

We invite you to embark on a sacred pilgrimage to discover your own soul’s purpose. Then we will provide the tools, expertise, contacts and resources to bring your gift to life in the world!

Plenaries, Interactive Roundtables, Open Space, Music and Meditation, A LIVING PILGRIMAGE in the desert, bright new presenters and the best of New Thought’s loyal friends… this year come ready to explode with creativity. Go home bursting with ideas and ready to serve in your home, your community, or your world.

A wide variety of presenters and activities will soon be announced. Some special features this year include:

Humanitarian Work

Meet with Dr. A.T. Ariyaratne, founder and leader of the Sarvodaya Movement in Sri Lanka whose efforts have been tireless in rebuilding the country after the tsunami disaster. Ari will be joined by his son or daughter, each stepping in line to take over their father’s great work.

Pilgrimage of the Family of Abraham

Meet with William Ury, co-founder with President Jimmy Carter of the Global Negotiation Project at Harvard and author of Getting to Yes, and The Third Side. Bill will be joined by religious leaders from the Third Synthesus Dialogues in Rome, 2004, all of whom have committed to making this healing initiative in the Middle East a reality in our time. AGNT invites you to participate in 2005-2006.

Miracles at Home

Learn how to enlist and lead projects at home in the United States that will build spirit-led citizenship and create stronger communities among disenfranchised populations in need of conscious empowerment and values-based education.

Nonviolence is Becoming A Reality

Interact and be informed by leaders of nonviolence initiatives and organizations acting successfully in this nation and around the world. Peace IS possible and “you are the one we have been waiting for.”
