Rev. Dr. Audrey Turner
Rev. Dr. Abigail Albert is a New Thought and Interfaith Minister. She has an Interfaith Credential, Master of Inter-Religious Studies and Doctor of Religious Studies from Emerson Theological Institute. She is the Co-Minister of the All Faith Center in Poway, CA and a founding member and Executive Director of the Poway Interfaith Team. Dr. Abigail currently serves as Vice- President of the Affiliated New Thought Network and on the faculty of Emerson Theological Institute. Dr. Abigail is a member of the Interfaith Community Services Clergy Council in Escondido, CA. Rev. Dr. Abigail Albert was a planner/ facilitator for the AGNT Awakened World Conference 2012 in Italy and was a panel presenter at the Parliament of World Religions, Melbourne, Australia in 2009. She has also presented for the North American Interfaith Network over the years. Dr. Abigail is an "Ambassador For Peace" given by the United Peace Federation and received the "Human Excellence Award" from the Interfaith Alliance in San Diego. In 2011, she received the Prime Poway Women Certificate of Appreciation. She is the author of Empowered Women of Faith and a co-author with her husband Dr. Stephen Albert of the Interfaith Workbook.
Rev. Dr. Stephen Albert is the co-minister with his wife Rev. Dr. Abigail of the All Faith Center in Poway California. He is a founding member of the Poway Interfaith team and its 2006 & 2012 President. Dr. Steve teaches Comparative Religion classes at the University of Phoenix and is the author of 15 books including The Interfaith Manual, The Interfaith Workbook and the new novel, Infinite Possibilities. He holds 4 college degrees and he participated in the creation and coordination of the New Thought conference booth at the Parliament of World Religions in Melbourne, Australia in December 2009; he was also a facilitator at the Awakened World Dialogues in Rome and Florence, Italy in 2012. Steve is a stroke survivor and wrote the book REBOOT about his experience of getting well through rehab. He also is an open-heart surgery survivor and during his recovery from open heart surgery in early 2012, he created the concept of ‘New Thought Day’ which has become the first yearly holiday to bring together all New Thought organizations around the world. Toni G. Boehm is an inspirational and dynamic speaker, author of 7 books and multiple inspirational CDs, certified organization and life coach, nurse, ordained Unity minister, and poet. She is known for her expert and passionate facilitation of classes. Boehm has spoken nationally and internationally, and at 300 Unity spiritual communities. She has worked with over one hundred boards and leadership teams. As a consultant for UWM she did research on the best standards of practice for ministries; her research is included in The Thriving Ministry Model of Unity.She is the National Coordinator Peace Skills Development for Unity Worldwide Ministries. andUnity South Central Region Ministry Consultants. She is the recipient of numerous awards including, U.W.M. Volunteer of the Year Award, University of Missouri’s Woman's Council Award for Outstanding Master’s Thesis Research, Thesis selected for presentation at John Hopkins Hospital Annual Medical Symposium. Her experience also includes working for the International Headquarters of Hallmarks Cards as Wellness Clinic Director, the International Headquarters for the American Nurses Association as Sr. Staff specialist, and Coach to the Executive Nursing Staff of Research Medical Hospital. Dr. Richard Loren Held
Dr. Richard Loren Held contributes a rich history in New Thought from longstanding service within both Unity and Centers for Spiritual Living communities. He holds multiple degrees including a Doctor of Divinity from study in both the United States and in Europe. A professional musician, published author and award-winning businessman, Dr. Held's work has been noted as "Thought-provoking and soul-nudging; striking that rare balance of profound and profoundly simple." A passionate student of world religions and a lover of modern architecture, all dogs and really good cheese, he is the Spiritual Director at Unity Church in Lynnwood, just north of beautiful Seattle, Washington. www.UnityinLynnwood.org.
The living legacy of The Reverend Dr. Barbara Lewis King is a long-standing testimony of her qualifications for the position of Bishop. She is the founder minister/world spiritual leader and CEO of Hillside International Chapel and Truth Center, Inc, one of the largest New Thought Movement Churches in the world; and she has been enstooled as the first female chief at Assin Nsuta, Ghana, West Africa. Having had audiences with the Dalai Lama, South Africa's former President Nelson Mandela, Archbishop Desmond Tutu; and having worked closely with His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Dr. & Master Zhi Gang Sha, she is known throughout the world. Dr. Barbara, as she is affectionately called by her congregation, has been a guest at the White House consulting with Presidents Jimmy Carter and William J. Clinton. She graduated from Texas Southern University, and received her Master of Social Work degree from Atlanta University where she continued her work in social work and later served as Dean of Students at Spelman College. In 1971, Hillside International Chapel and Truth Center was founded. She hosted her own television show, "A New Thought, A New Life," which appeared on network and cable television. Recognized as one of the foremost spiritual leaders in the 21st century, Dr. King continues to receive numerous honors. Her portrait hangs in the International Hall of Honor at Martin Luther King Jr. Chapel at Morehouse College.
Rev. Don Lansky has been interested in the path to higher consciousness since high school. He studied with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Belgium, France and Switzerland and became a Transcendental Meditation instructor in 1974. During this ten-year period, Don facilitated week-long meditation retreats, andwas the chairperson of TM centers in Syracuse, NY, West Palm Beach, FL, and Fort Lauderdale, FL, and also served on state coordinator teams in Upstate New York and Wisconsin. Don was involved in the early projects to prove that large groupsof meditators could generate coherence in collectiveconsciousness. This later became known as the MaharishiEffect. He was part of a group of 56 men who traveled to Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) on a peace mission during the later days of the civil war in that country.
Don was the senior vice president of the third largest cruise only travel agency in the world which he built with his partner in Miami, Fl. After 15 years, he left that position to attend Unity seminary and was ordained by the Association of Unity Churches (now Unity Worldwide Ministries) in 2000. Don and his wife and co-minister, Patricia, have served Unity of Charlottesville since 2001. He has also served on the Admissions Team for Unity Institute and as vice president of Unity Worldwide Ministries Eastern Region.s.
Rev. Patricia Gulino Lansky received a Masters in Theatre and a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting and is a professional Equity actor. Her interest in transformation and service continued to grow and she received a Master’s Degree in Social Work followed by a 25 year career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in families, couples and group work. After ordination at Unity Institute in 2001, Patricia and her husband Rev. Don Lansky, relocated to Charlottesville, Virginia where they continue to serve as co-ministers at Unity of Charlottesville. In 2003 they led the initiative to raise funds and build a campus that nowincludes a 250 seat sanctuary, 24/7 meditation center, and a full-scale replica of the Chartreslabyrinth. An interfaith mediation garden in being planned to honor the world’s great spiritual traditions. Patricia and Don are known for their innovative services and dedication to empowering people to be their best selves. Monthly Spiritual Cinema and a free-standing Holistic Healing Center are just a few of the programs offered by their center.
Patricia’s love of acting is re-enlivened as she has co-written a play and is performing the role ofUnity’s co-founder, Myrtle Fillmore, at Unity centers and conferences. She is nearing completion of her first book
Rev. Dr. Carol Wells Lawson is the Founder and Spiritual Director of the Center for Conscious Living, Moorestown, NJ where she delights in anchoring a resonant field of Love, empowering individuals and knowing the Truth of Oneness for all. A recognized scholar and long-time practitioner of the teachings of New Thought and Science of Mind, Rev. Dr. Carol serves as the President of the Affiliated New Thought Network, is on the faculty of Emerson Theological Institute, and on the Advisory Council of Association of Global New Thought. She holds a Doctorate of Divinity from Emerson Theological Institute, and a Master of Science from the University of Southern California. She is a Woodrow Wilson Fellow, an alum of the University of Virginia, and had a long career in Education including a post at Cal State University at LA before becoming ordained as a Religious Science Minister. Her life in education has led her to become an eternal student, absorbing the rich teachings of many spiritual paths and lineages. Rev. Dr. Carol is a dynamic, insightful and inspiring teacher who has inspired and mentored many other New Thought ministries and has coached many others to becoming New Thought ministers themselves. A popular guest on New Thought radio shows, she combines a delightful sweetness of spirit with a profound and deep wisdom. Rev. Dr. Carol is also an awakened Oneness Blessing giver and takes regular spiritual pilgrimages to India. Jean Houston, PhD, calls her “a luminous lady of spirit, a true wise woman for our time.”
Dr. Jim Lockard is Spiritual Leader of the Center for Spiritual Living, Simi Valley, California. He currently serves on the Centers for Spiritual Living (CSL) Growth and Development Commission and is the CSL Disaster Relief Coordinator. He is a member of the Board of Directors of SOMARK, Inc., which is the holder of all intellectual property for the Centers for Spiritual Living. His book "SACRED THINKING, Awakening to Your Inner Power" (2010, Oneness Books) is available in paperback and electronic editions.
Dr. Jim served on the International Centers for Spiritual Living Board of Directors from 2003 to 2012. Prior to his entry into ministry, he worked in law enforcement in Maryland and Florida. In addition, Dr. Jim is a certified presenter of Spiral Dynamics® and the SQ21® Spiritual Intelligence assessment and coaching process. Dr. Jim and his wife, Dorianne Cotter-Lockard operate the Ministerial Coaching Program, helping ministers to fully realize their potential. Dr. Harry Morgan Moses is the Spiritual Director of SpiritWorks Center for Spiritual Living in Burbank, California. Dr. Harry is a nationally recognized author, speaker, and motivational corporate trainer. Moses is the author of the new book, Obvious Power, and the popular book, It’s So Easy When You Know How, now in its second edition. He was the host of a nationally aired, magazine-style television program and the co-host of a network informational series. In 1999, Moses joined a select group of civic and spiritual leaders for dialogues with the Dalai Lama in the “Synthesis Project” at His Holiness’ residence in Dharmasala, India. Moses is the founder of the New Thought Center San Diego, Co-founder and past President of the Affiliated New Thought Network, Co-founder of New Thought Ministries of Oregon and served as the Senior Advisor of the Emerson Institute. Dr. Moses is featured in the movies, Living Luminaries – The Serious Business of Happiness, What Is New Thought? and The Dalai Lama Renaissance. In addition to his work for the business and secular world, Moses has spoken and done seminars for churches and centers throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and the UK.
Rev. Dr. Peggy Price is Minister Emeritus of the Seal Beach Center for Spiritual Living, a founding member and past President of the Greater Huntington Beach Interfaith Council (GHBIC) and currently a co-facilitator of Compassionate Huntington Beach, in partnership with the GHBIC. She is a member of the Wisdom Council of SARAH, and on the Advisory Board for the Association for Global New Thought. In 2009 she attended and was a presenter ("Common Enterprise of Peace Building") at The Parliament of World’s Religions in Melbourne, Australia. She is currently an Ambassador of, and on the Advisory Council for the 2015 Parliament of World's Religions. In 2005 she toured Turkey as a guest of the Pacifica Institute; in 2008 she attended the United Religions Initiative Global Peace Assembly in India. In 2012 she served as a co-facilitator at the Awakened World Conference in Italy held in Rome and Florence. She is the recipient of several awards including the Peacemaker Award from GHBIC; and the Unity Award from South Coast Interfaith Council. She resides in Huntington Beach with her husband, Don and is a mother of four adult children and has seven grandchildren.
Rev. Dr. Petra’s intention is to grow people and things into their greatest purpose and self-expression. She has co-authored the Joyous Freedom Journal with Rev Dr. Christian Sorensen, as well as numerous articles and has led countless retreats on Spiritual Living. Dr Petra has a passion for youth, interfaith service, global transformation, and expanding consciousness. She is currently vice-chair of the DFW Interfaith Coalition; working to bring the 2014 Parliament of the World’s Religions to Dallas/Fort Worth, TX and has been serving as the Sr. Minister at the Center for Spiritual Living in Dallas.
Dr. Frank is an ordained minister of Religious Science and a graduate of the Emerson Theological Institute. He has a B.A. and M.S. in education and doctorates in Divinity and Religious Studies. He is a student of Transpersonal Psychology, as well as both eastern and western mysticism. He has spent many years as a teacher of practical spirituality and applied metaphysics assisting students in their journey of self awakening. In addition, he has trained as a Pre-Cognitive Re-education intuitive healing facilitator and is a Real Love Professional relationship coach helping couples and individuals to bring Divine Love to all their relationships. Frank is a faculty member of the Emerson Theological Institute, the past president of the Affiliated New Thought Network (ANTN).
