PEACE TRAIN PROCESSION
Los Angeles to San Jose, CA
Get on board the Peace Train — a once in a lifetime traveling conference celebrating 10 years of successful peace activism. Moving from LA to San Jose, these privately chartered, custom rail cars will host hundreds of citizen peacemakers, Season task force leaders, Living Legends, government officials, musicians and performers in a highly interactive, on-board program of teach-ins, group discussions, music and meditations. This is your chance to sit with peers and Living Legends of Nonviolence to reflect on your biggest successes and challenges of the past decade. This “moving” journey will set the stage for the Friday conference, fuelling the engines of your commitment for future achievements in nonviolent activism. At Whistle Stops along the route, local officials and media will be invited to meet the Peace Train as well as local teams leading a motor coach caravan from stop to stop. REGISTER NOW >

LIVING LEGENDS OF NONVIOLENCE NATIONAL CONFERENCE
San Jose, CA • San Jose Marriott Hotel
Hosted in a state-of-the-art hotel and conference center, this full day working conference will begin with a plenary session to share our vision for the next decade’s Perennial Season for Nonviolence and Peace. Multi-track afternoon breakout sessions will be designed to support your future work and will feature tutorial conversations between youth delegates and Living Legends, along with strategy, design and resource sharing seminars led by you and your SNV task force leader peers.

Breakout sessions will include interfaith healing, youth leadership, nonviolent policy change, the environment, family, and schools; offering proven tools to craft an internal and external culture of nonviolence. This is the leading edge “beehive” model of peer leadership we have been longing for in the conferencing arena. You’ll be astonished at the effective collaboration accomplished in a setting designed to include and expand the core principles of your existing achievements. The day culminates in a Compassion Banquet featuring a Face-to-Face & Heart-to-Heart ceremony, mutually honoring Living Legends of Nonviolence and YOU, the task force leaders and spiritually-motivated activists who have led the way.
