Greetings Everyone! I am pleased to announce that Denver will be the host

of this year's A Season for Nonviolence national kick-off with our 2-day

youth summit on nonviolence, PeaceQuest 2001.

This event will be held on Friday evening, February 2nd from 5:30 - 9:00

p.m., and all day Saturday, February 3rd from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Our

theme this year is "Be the change you want to see in the world" and the

youth, 6th - 12 graders, will participate in a myriad workshops that will

help them build new skills to be that change.

I would like to invite you to send a cadre of your youth and adult advisors

to this event and for our planning purposes, you must submit your

registration to me by January 1st, 2001. That will give us time to arrange

accommodations for you and transportation from the airport, if necessary.
