Peace Train Kick-Off Celebration
Los Angeles to San Jose, CA

Get on board the Peace Train — a once in a lifetime traveling conference celebrating 10 years of successful peace activism. Moving from LA to San Jose, these privately chartered, custom rail cars will host hundreds of citizen peacemakers, Season task force leaders, Living Legends, government officials, musicians and performers in a highly interactive, on-board program of teach-ins, group discussions, music and meditations. This is your chance to sit with peers and Living Legends of Nonviolence to reflect on your biggest successes and challenges of the past decade. This “moving” journey will set the stage for the Friday conference, fuelling the engines of your commitment for future achievements in nonviolent activism. At Whistle Stops along the route, local officials and media will be invited to meet the Peace Train as well as local teams leading a motor coach caravan from stop to stop.
